SESEI expert was invited by Global ICT Standardization Forum for India (GISFI) to participate in the event and give a presentation on EU & India Partnership: Role of Standards in building Digital Infrastructure. SESEI used this opportunity to highlight Project SESEI, role of Standard & Its importance, EU-India – latest updates (Policies and standardization), Global standards status for 5G advanced and 6G, AI and Quantum technologies and EU-INDIA Partnership Instruments etc.
SESEI was invited by STMicroelectronics, France to share India’s semiconductor industry and standards development during their webinar – How geopolitics is influencing our semiconductor industry and standards development held on 2nd October.
SESEI was invited to give a lecture at Shiv Nadar Institute – School of Management & Entrepreneurship on “The European Union and Sustainability (Key Policy Initiatives/Regulations, Standardization, Studies)” with basics around Standards.
SESEI expert was invited by Bharat Exhibitions as a panellist for the Plenary session on “Research, Innovation & Standardisation Roadmap: Bharat 6G Vision”. SESEI expert used this opportunity to highlight the lead taken by the EU in 6G technology through Research and Standardization undertaken by the European Commission and the European Standardization Bodies. This Event was also supported by ETSI.
CII invited the SESEI expert as a speaker for the second webinar in the series on “Standards Supporting Quality, Trade, and Women’s Participation” to deliver a presentation on “Gender Responsive Standards – European Case Studies.” SESEI used this opportunity to present an overview of the European Standardisation System, Gender-Responsive Standards in Europe, and related policies, standards, and case studies.
SESEI expert was invited by CII to attend the webinar as a key speaker and share insights on EU Sustainability and Digital Standards. SESEI used this opportunity to deliver a presentation covering the EU’s work on Smart & Online Standards Development (OSD), standardization of emerging technologies, EU policies, regulations, directives and standards supporting sustainability.

SESEI used this opportunity to share insights on key policy initiatives and standards in support of smart energy in Europe during session on “Emerging Smart Energy Technologies and Standardization Landscape”.

SESEI expert used this opportunity and shared slides covering EU Project SESEI, Indian Standardisation Bodies & their integration with International Standards Organisations (BIS , TEC & TSDSI), Why Research integration into Standards & Activities Undertaken by India (DST, BIS , C-DOT , MEITY) and EU-India Partnership Instruments etc.
The SESEI expert was invited by Bharat Exhibitions (BE) to attend the event as “Distinguished Panelist” during Panel Discussion Theme : Policy and Governance for Smart Mobility. During the panel discussion, the SESEI expert highlighted EU work in the area of Smart mobility/Intelligent Transport System (ITS) such as EU Cooperative, connected and automated mobility (CCAM) Platform, C-ITS Platform, C-Roads Platform, EU Sustainable & smart mobility strategy, European Strategy on C-ITS etc. and standards developed by CEN/TC 278 and ETSI TC ITS.
SESEI expert as a panellist in the session on “Looking forward towards 6G – Research Opportunities, Challenges and Industry expectations”. provided Overview of 3GPP, ITU-R timeline and vision about 2030 and beyond, EU Research & Development and Policy Initiatives for 5G and beyond etc.
SESEI expert as a speaker shared a presentation covering 1) EU Scenario around Electric Vehicle 2) EU: Key Directives, Regulation, Policy initiatives and Standardization (safety requirements) 3) EU-India Partnership.
SESEI expert as a keynote speaker at the Inaugural ceremony explained basics around Standards & key policies initiatives and standardization work around 5G/6G, AI, Data & quantum technologies in India and Europe.
SESEI expert as a panellist shared the status of 5G deployment in India & Europe, early-stage R&D and pre-standardization of 6G etc.
The objective of Smart Meter Summit 2024 was to provide a platform for key stakeholders to discuss the metering requirements and opportunities in India. The conference also highlighted the key challenges faced and enable knowledge sharing on various aspects of smart metering including communication systems, emerging technologies, design and testing, and data acquisition and management. The conference also showcased the best practices in the metering space. The SESEI expert attended the Summit as a speaker and shared presentation on Smart Metering in EU and India: Market Dynamics, Regulation & Standards.
The SESEI expert was invited to speak on “Opportunities and Challenges for the Cooperation of EU and India in Standardisation. In his presentation, SESEI provided an overview of the Standard Development organizations in India and EU, emphasizing the need for ICT standards to be global and the various EU-IndiaPartnership Instruments, established by the EU and India to ensure close cooperation and collaboration on ICT Standardization. He also reiterated on the criticality of integrating research into the standardization (Standards based Research), especially to identify and address emerging topics in technology.
The expert was invited by India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF) to participate as a distinguished speaker in 8TH IEC – IEEE SMART ENERGY STANDARDIZATION COORDINATION WORKSHOP – Session 1: Emerging Smart Energy Technologies and Standardization Landscape during the 10th edition of India Smart Utility Week (ISUW) 2024. The SESEI expert used this opportunity and shared a presentation on “European policies and Standards“ covering Key Directives, Key Policy Initiatives and Standardization around Green & Clean Energy.
SESEI expert was invited by ETSI to participate in the conference as a speaker and provide a status update on the Artificial Intelligence policy and standardization efforts carried out in India.
SESEI was invited by QCI to attend the 3rd ICSTS as a key speaker and give a presentation during the Opening Plenary Session on “Sustainability Standards as a Tool for Advancing Global Sustainability Goals in advance”. SESEI used this opportunity and shared a presentation covering Sustainable development and SDGs, Circular Economy and its benefits, key Policy Initiatives in India and EU that are contributing significantly to achieving SDGs, Role of Voluntary Sustainability Standards (VSS) in achieving SDGs and EU-India Partnership.
C-DAC invited SESEI expert to join the meeting and share his viewpoints regarding standards associated with the connected vehicles/devices space. SESEI used this opportunity and shared insights covering policy initiatives and standardization work around Intelligent Transport System (ITS) in India and Europe.

SESEI expert was invited to attend the Cultural-cum-Academic Activities Event: Advancing Sustainable Development: Building a Resilient Future – Focusing on India-EU Collaboration as a key speaker. This event was organized by Miranda House in collaboration with the Culture Council, University of Delhi, Department of Slavonic and Finno-Ugrian Studies, and the Department of German and Romance Studies, University of Delhi.

EU delegation to India together with Centre for Responsible Business (C4RB) organized an event to bring together a distinguished gathering of experts to reflect upon successful EU and Indian examples of how eco-labels and other market and policy instruments can/could better contribute to the LiFE initiative’s principles and priorities. SESEI expert was invited by EU delegation to attend the event and share insights on the EU policy measures around Circular Economy, Eco-design, Ecolabelling etc. and provide input to the report prepared.
