CEN and CENELEC Work Programme 2025
The CEN and CENELEC Work Programme 2025 presents the main standardization developments and strategic priority areas for CEN and CENELEC in 2025, across 14 business sectors. For each sector, the reader will find a list of the technical bodies involved in carrying out the work, the number of standards published by CEN and CENELEC, and a detailed overview of the topics where standardization work is expected.
The Work Programme also highlights three horizontal business topics, key to meeting present and future challenges: Accessibility, Sustainability, and Conformity Assessment.
CEN and CENELEC Strategy 2030
The Strategy 2030 is a strategic agenda for 2021-2030 firmly within the context of the twin digital and green transitions, to ensure that CEN CENELEC standardization systems and services serve as catalysts for the radically transformative growth trajectory which Europe has embarked upon. The aim of the Strategy 2030, therefore, is for CEN and CENELEC to rethink and optimize the way they create value for our customers and stakeholders in a rapidly changing world.
CEN and CENELEC Annual Report 2024
In 2024, CEN CENLEC made significant progress on main priorities, including sustainability, digitalization, innovation, and international cooperation. Areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Resilience, Quantum Technologies, and Data Management were put in focus, supporting the twin green and digital transitions at the core of Europe’s strategic agenda.
