This is the “Indian Standardisation Landscape” Report prepared by Project SESEI with an objective to
provide an introduction and overview of the Standards Development Process in India. The sections of
the report consist of the Main Standards Development Organizations, role of industry associations in
driving the standards, overview of the accreditation and certification bodies in India and as well as the
information on other SDO’s and International Standards Development Organizations having their
presence in India.

Sector Profile Report on “Digitalisation” – September 2025 : India
Project SESEI released its Sector Profile Report on “Digitalisation” in September 2025, highlighting India’s digital transformation. The report covers government-led infrastructure efforts and initiatives to build a secure, inclusive, and future-ready digital ecosystem. Providing overview of emerging technologies such as 5G/6G, AI, satellite communications, IoT/M2M, blockchain, cybersecurity, and quantum technologies that are driving India’s digital growth.
It also outlines policy measures under Atmanirbhar Bharat aimed at boosting domestic manufacturing, reducing import dependency, and developing a competitive tech ecosystem. The report concludes with an overview of major EU–India cooperation initiatives in digital infrastructure, connectivity, standards, innovation, and digital governance.
