Talk on EU Standards for CSIR-NISTADS, 6th August 2013
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies (CSIR-NISTADS), invited SESEI on 6th August 2013to make a presentation on EU standards.
SESEI presented a detailed presentation on the importance of standards in relation to globalisation, emerging technologies, trade and to bring economies of scale into the market.
Presentation by SESEI generated a lot of interest, especially amongst the students, helping them to realise the role of standards in a larger perspective. Institute has asked SESEI to share an article on standards. SESEI informed the organizer that LO approval is pending and once in place an article will be shared along with a regular quarterly newsletter on EU Standards and Policy updates.
