SESEI being a joint project commissioned by five important stakeholders from Europe is periodically monitored by the steering committee, wherein the committee members discuss progress on important project milestones and various deliverables in the pipeline


      Steering Committee Meeting #8 – 8 October 2018

      The eight meeting of the Steering Committee was held on 8th October 2018 at CCMC Office, Brussels. The meeting was attended by Ms. Margot Dor, ETSI, Xavier Piednoir, ETSI, Silvia Vaccaro European Commission, Ms. Gudrun Rognvaldardottir, EFTA, Ms. Ines Briard, CENCENELEC, Mr. Eric Marchand, CEN CENELEC and Mr. Dinesh Sharma, SESEI.

      The main agenda for the meeting was to monitor and assess the progress of Project SESEI and provide direction for the next set of actions and deliverables.

      — Review of pending action items from Steering Committee #7
      — Presentation on the Project administration and management
      — Snapshot of the new policy, legislative, regulatory and Technical initiatives around Project priority sectors in India
      — Detailed presentation by SESEI on the major activities and deliverables carried out during the last quarter
      — Open exchange about technical priorities and orientation for SESEI IV


      Steering Committee Meeting #7 – 25th April 2018

      The seventh meeting of the Steering Committee (SC) was held on 25th April 2018 at the SESEI Office, New Delhi. This was the first Steering Committee Meeting held in India at SESEI Office. The meeting was presided over by Chairperson, Ms. Margot Dor, ETSI, Secretary, Xavier Piednoir, ETSI, Silvia Vaccaro European Commission, Ms. Gudrun Rognvaldardottir, EFTA, Dinesh Sharma, SESEI and Priya Sawhney SESEI. Mr. Eric Marchand, CEN CENELEC joined the meeting remotely.

      Following agenda items were taken up during the meeting:

      — Review of pending actions and matters arising out #06
      — SESEI Project Management Status
      — SESEI Expert Status Report covering Last Quarter Major Activities, planned activities for next quarter including Items for discussion/decision and updated SESEI Project Strategy Presentation.
      — Final review of the 3rd EU-India dialogue conference activities, flow of the agenda
      — Final review of the Study reports on Automotive, ICT and Smart Energy


      Steering Committee Meeting #06 – 16 January 2018,

      The sixth meeting of the Steering Committee No. SC#6 was held via web meeting. The meeting was attended by Chair, Ms. Margot Dor, ETSI, Secretary, Mr. Xavier Piednoir, ETSI, Ms. Margrethe Asserson, EFTA, Ms. Silvia Vaccaro, European Commission, Ms. Eric Marchand, CCMC Dinesh Chand Sharma , SESEI

      Following agenda items were taken up during the meeting:

      — Review of pending actions and matters arising out #05
      — SESEI Project Management Status,
      – SESEI Expert Status Report covering Last Quarter Major Activities, planned activities for next quarter including Items for discussion/decision and updated SESEI Project Strategy Presentation.
      — Status update on 3rd EU-India dialogue conference activities, agenda topics and confirmation on speakers
      — Comments and review of the Study reports on Automotive, ICT and Smart Energy
      — Progress on MoUs & licensing agreements with BIS


      Steering Committee Meeting #5 – 27th October 2017

      The fifth meeting of the Steering Committee (SC) was held on 27th October 2017 at the CCMC Management Centre, Brussels. The meeting was attended by Secretary, Xavier Piednoir, ETSI, Eric Marchand CEN/CENELEC, Silvia Vaccaro European Commission, Margrethe Asserson, EFTA and Dinesh Sharma, SESEI. Following agenda items were taken up during the meeting:

      — Review of Actions of the meeting #02 and SESEI Project Management Status,
      — SESEI Expert Status Report covering Last Quarter Major Activities, planned activities for next quarter including Items for discussion/decision and updated SESEI Project Strategy Presentation.

      The other important discussions took place during the meeting were on:

      — 3rd EU-India dialogue conference and Study Reports
      — Progress on MoUs with BIS
      — Update on activities with EU-India project on ICT standardization


      Steering Committee Meeting #4 – 23rd June 2017

      The fourth meeting of the Steering Committee (SC) was held on 23rd June 2017. The meeting was hosted by ETSI at their headquarters in Sophia Antipolis (France). The meeting also coincided with the training of the Project SESEI assistant at ETSI.

      Steering Committee members discussed and reviewed the actions items from SC #03, status of the project and the overall performance of SESEI, last quarter major activities and the project strategy. SESEI was appreciated for the efforts taken for:

      • EN115 agreement between BIS and CEN – Signed
      • SESEI Flyer finalized and printed
      • Successful visit/meetings of ETSI delegation and organization of Workshop on “Future proof smart cities with a common service layer: standards driven approach” as organized by India-EU Cooperation on ICT, ETSI and TSDSI in association with C-DOT

      Steering Committee Meeting #3 held at EFTA office # 15 March 2017

      Steering Committee Meeting No. SC#3 of the Project SESEI 3 was held on 15th March 2017 virtually using GoToMeeting. The meeting participants were; Chair: Margot Dor (ETSI), Secretary, Xavier Piednoir, ETSI, Eric Marchand CEN/CENELEC, Silvia Vaccaro European Commission, Dinesh Sharma, SESEI, Priya Sawhney Mohindru SESEI. During the meeting the following items were taken up for discussion:

      — Review of Actions of the meeting #02, SESEI Project Management Status, SESEI Expert Status Report covering Last Quarter Major Activities, planned activities for next quarter including Items for discussion/decision and updated SESEI Project Strategy Presentation.
      — Highlights of ETSI’s mission to India
      — India Smart grid forum request to join the SG-CG and the SM-CG as observers
      — Finalization of ETSI-BIS MoU, Adoption of EN- 115
      — Finalization of SESEI Flyer
      — Proposal for Study Reports on ICT, Automotive and Smart Energy
      — Training of the SESEI Project Assistant
      — New BIS Catalogue and Interim Report ToC
      — Email and Website migration to www.sesei.eu


      SESEI III Steering Committee Meeting #02 –23 November 2016:

      Steering Committee Meeting No. SC#2 of the Project SESEI 3 was held on 23rd November 2016 at CCMC Centre at Brussels. The meeting participants were;

      Steering Committee Meeting #1 – 27/06/2016:

      Steering Committee Meeting No. SC#1 of the Project SESEI 3 was held on 27th june 2016 at Brussels. The meeting participants were;

    • All steering Committee members welcomed SESEI once again and commended him successfully delivery of Project SESEI Phase 2 and ensured their full support and cooperation for making SESEI 3 and equally successful and beneficial project for all Project Partners
