We are pleased to inform you that the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC), the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), European Commission’s Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry and Entrepreneurship (DG GROW) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) in the framework of their Project SESEI (www.sesei.eu) in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) are organizing its 3rd Edition of Indo-European Conference on Standards and Emerging Technology on 26th April, 2018 in New Delhi.

This conference will bring together Key Technical and Subject Matter experts from European and Indian Community for sharing and learning about Standardization and Emerging Technologies covering following topics:

ICT covering M2M/IoT & its role in Smart Cities and Cyber Security
Automotive covering Electric mobility and Intelligent Transport System (ITS)
Smart Energy covering Smart Grid, Smart Meter, LVDC, Micro Grid etc.

The conference would release and present three study reports on above topics and share updates on these topics covering latest EU/Global/Indian developments around Standardization, related policies & legislations, Gaps and Challenges and decide Way forward through presentation and panel discussions. 10-10 webinar: The HAS Consultant framework

On 10 April 2018

As part of the ‘ACTION PLAN Structural solutions to decrease the stock of non-cited harmonised standards’ agreed between the ESOs and the Commission, the European Commission has created a new framework, replacing the current system of New Approach Consultants, for the joint assessment of harmonized standards in the sense of art. 10(5) of regulation EU/1025/2012. To that extent, the Commission has appointed a contractor: Ernst & Young who is in charge of team of HArmonized Standards Consultants (HAS Consultants).
